A group from the Romeoville, Illinois office got together to help at their local food bank.
Hunger Action Month 2022 - Serving at the Homeless Shelter
CDP employees will go help in their communities any time of year, but it is especially important to do so during Hunger Action Month (September). A group of employees from the Frankfort, Kentucky office went to the homeless shelter to serve lunch.
CDP Food Drive 2022
In coordination with Hunger Action Month and the White House Conference on Hunger, Health, and Nutrition, we hosted a food drive for our local food banks. Employees could bring in non-perishable items for the food banks to either of the CDP offices, but if they were unable to make it to the office, they could donate money. With employee donations totaling $2,800 and a company match at 100 percent, we were able to donate $5,600 of non-perishables and other necessary items to food banks in the communities surrounding our main offices.
The Romeoville office was able to donate $2,400 worth of necessary items and $400 to the Romeoville Community Pantry.
The Frankfort office was able to donate $2,600 worth of necessary items and $200 to the AMEN House.
